2015 Cosmos Copa Quarterfinals Set

The 2015 Cosmos Copa Round of 16 was played on a hot and steamy Sunday at Randall's Island. The heat fueled intense competition, and the day saw many close games.
The reigning champions, NYC Gambia, were taken to the brink of elimination by NYC Peru before advancing in a penalty shootout. NYC France, NYC Ireland and NYC El Salvador joined Gambia as repeat quarterfinalists, but NYC USA narrowly missed out on their fourth straight appearance.

Now the quarterfinal matchups are set. The quarterfinals will take place this Saturday, July 25 at Randall's Island. All games will start at 5 p.m. ET.

NYC Ireland vs. NYC Ukraine
NYC Gambia vs. NYC Argentina
The Copa Final will be played at Hofstra University's Shuart Stadium on Sunday, August 2, after the New York Cosmos' NASL matchup with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
