As part of their New York Cosmos sendoff, Spanish greats Raúl and Marcos Senna have already received personalized New York Giants jerseys from Super Bowl-winning punter Sean Landeta and an official proclamation declaring Oct. 31 Raúl And Marcos Senna Appreciation Day. On Saturday they’ll be immortalized in portrait form live at Hofstra’s Shuart Stadium before their final regular season match.

ArtBattles, which specializes in live art events that expose emerging artists to the public, will put on a two-man show in the stadium’s West Plaza (between Gates A & C). Starting at 6:15 p.m., artists Andre Trenier and Ben Angotti will bring to life 4x5-foot portraits of Senna and Raúl. The creations will be presented to the two footballers on the pitch as part of a pregame ceremony honoring their career achievements and time with the club.

Angotti is a Brooklyn-based artist experienced in a variety of mediums, primarily working in the disciplines of painting, sculpture and illustration. Trenier was born and raised in the Bronx, educated at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and has specialized in customized sneakers and clothing.

DJ Zeke will return to Shuart Stadium to perform alongside the portrait artists pregame as part of Fan Appreciation night festivities. All fans in attendance who purchase a ticket before halftime will have chances to win these prizes and more:

  • Free coffee for a year from Corner Bakery
  • Free pizza for a year from Skinny Pizza
  • A trip for two to Dubai from Emirates
