May 25, 2016 | Listen

This week on #IntotheCosmos, hosts Ej Garr and Frank Dell'Apa bring you all you need to know about a crazy portion of the schedule that the NY Cosmos are enduring at the moment.

After a 2-1 win against Tampa Bay at home this past weekend, the man who came away with the game-winning goal joins us on the show. Ruben Bover's strike is a nominee for NASL Play of the Week. We discuss the Eibar match with Ruben as he joins us from Las Vegas, where the team is getting prepared for a 10 p.m. ET match against the La Liga side on May 25.

The U.S. Open Cup disscussion continues with Jersey Express set to visit New York on June 1. But before we get there, the Cosmos face Rayo OKC at Shuart Stadium this weekend. The Cosmos look to improve on their first-place status in the Spring Season, with only two matches remaining to play.

We discuss the Cosmos B squad, which is once again shaping up for a deep run in the NPSL, trying to retain the championship from a season ago.

It's Superhero Night at Shuart Stadium this weekend, so bring your cape and utility belt to the match to watch the Cosmos face Rayo OKC on Saturday, May 28.

Nevertheless, EoS Radio managed to speak to Michael Lahoud, now former midfielder of the New York Cosmos, who was recalled by his parent club Philadelphia Union and sold to upstart NASL club, Miami FC.

Lahoud speaks about his time in New York, addresses the shock of his transfer and gives a moment-by-moment breakdown of the entire affair.

You won’t want to miss this one folks. Take a listen.
