The NASL released its Spring Week Seven Team of the Week, naming two Cosmos’ players, Javi Márquez and Dejan Jaković. Márquez scored his second goal of the season, this time against Jacksonville Armada FC, on Saturday night after creating three scoring opportunities, with one shot on target which led to the Cosmos opening goal. His excellent performance earned him NASL Team of the Week honors for the third time this season, as he leads the Cosmos with goals scored, shots, and total crosses.

 

Dejan Jaković was named to the TOTW for the first time this season after producing another strong performance on defense for New York. Jaković had four tackles won and four total clearances against the Armada offense. He also had 46 touches on the ball, and made 30 successful passes with an accuracy of 93%.
