Ryan Richter and Andrés Flores each earned NASL Team of the Week honors after the Cosmos defeated Puerto Rico FC 4-2 at MCU Park. It was another impressive comeback against PRFC, as New York grabbed three valuable points at home.

Richter had another strong performance in the back, winning three tackles and five duels. He had 53 touches and was excellent distributing the ball throughout the field with a passing accuracy of 85.7 percent. Richter was named for the second time this season by the NASL while midfielder Flores earned his first honor of the Spring Season.

Flores had 65 touches on the ball, with a passing accuracy of 81.6 percent. The Salvadoran midfielder provided a crucial assist in the 69th minute against PRFC, hitting a perfect corner kick to Emmanuel Ledesma, who took care of the rest. Flores won nine duels, three tackles, and two clearances during the match.

The Cosmos are on the road against Miami FC on Saturday, June 24 at 7:30 pm. The team returns to MCU Park to face Indy Eleven on Tuesday, July 4 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are on sale now. For more information, click here.
