Defender, Ryan Richter, and midfielder, Andrés Flores, were both named to the NASL Team of the Month for June 2017.

Richter has established himself as an integral part of the Cosmos' back line, leading the team in games played (14), games started (13), and minutes played (1,206). The right back also continues to contribute going forward, tallying a goal and two assists.

A regular presence in the Cosmos midfield, Flores has a goal and two assists in 13 games so far this season. The Salvadoran is tied with Richter for second in the team in total passes (506) and is second after Richter in minutes played (1,081). Flores will suit up for El Salvador against Mexico in Sunday's CONCACAF Gold Cup Group Stage match.
