New York Cosmos midfielder, Eric Calvillo, and defender, Ryan Richter, were named to the NASL Week 17 Team of the Week. Both players were instrumental to the Cosmos' 1-0 road win over FC Edmonton in New York's final game of the 2017 Spring Season.

Calvillo scored the lone goal of the match, rolling the ball in from point-blank range in the 79th minute for his second-ever Cosmos goal and first of the season. He had two shots on target throughout the match and won four duels against the opposition.

Richter earned his fourth Team of the Week award in the 2017 Spring Season. He had 51 touches on the ball, making six clearances and winning three tackles to help New York maintain a clean sheet.
