Life’s WORC and the Cosmos Partner Up For A Good Cause

Published Jul 25, 2017
The New York Cosmos are playing their next home match against Miami FC on Saturday, July 29th at Coney Island. But that day will be about much more than the soccer on display.

On that Saturday, the Cosmos will be partnering with Life’s WORC and the Family Center for Autism. The program provides support to those hurt by developmental disabilities.

Life’s WORC is a not for profit organization, focusing relentlessly on helping those in need. Focused in the New York area, Life’s WORC dedicates themselves to core values that include: creating and maintaining a team, quality, and communication.

Through their core values, Life’s WORC has a singular goal. That goal is to make sure that every person, no matter the challenges they face, can be the best version of themselves and work towards accomplishing their dreams.

Many people in the immediate area suffer from some form of developmental disability, with up to 1,500 people in the vicinity affected to some degree by a developmental disability. The Cosmos have partnered up with Life’s WORC to help raise awareness and recognition for a serious problem in the New York area.

The Cosmos are happy to help support Life’s WORC and the Family Center for Autism, and hope you can show your support for this wonderful cause by coming out to the game. Should you prefer to donate to Life’s WORC and the marvelous services they provide, visit their page at http://www.lifesworc.org.
