New York Cosmos defender, Dejan Jaković, was named Emirates Cosmos Man of the Match after scoring the Cosmos' first goal in the 3-3 draw against Indy Eleven at MCU Park. A free kick by Emmanuel Ledesma began the goal-scoring combination. The Argentine opted for a short pass to Javi Márquez. Andrés Flores picked up the Spaniard's chip, crossing to Jaković at the back post. The center back jumped high to head home past Indy keeper, Jon Busch, bringing New York back into the game in the 29th minute.

Throughout 90 minutes of play, Jaković was a key distributor, getting 73 touches on the ball and completing 59 of his 62 passes.
