The New York Cosmos will visit North Carolina FC on Saturday, August 26.

The Cosmos hit the road after an electrifying 3-3 draw against Indy Eleven at MCU Park that saw headed goals from Dejan Jaković, Pablo Vranjicán, and Juan Guerra. Jaković helped New York begin their comeback, earning NASL Team of the Week honors for his 29th minute far-post header. Vranjicán and Guerra both tallied their third Cosmos goals in the 50th and 84th minutes.

North Carolina FC returns home after splitting points with the San Francisco Deltas in a 1-1 draw. Lance Laing's 72nd minute penalty brought back a point for the visitors, who have only won once in five Fall Season games. NCFC have struggled to gain points at home, unable to win at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park since their Spring Season closer against Puerto Rico FC (2-1).

The Cosmos and North Carolina last met at MCU Park, ending the night with two goals apiece. Irvin Herrera opened the scoring in the 7th minute, before Billy Schuler equalized through an 11th minute corner. Lance Laing's 45th minute free kick gave NCFC a 2-1 lead heading into halftime. New York clawed back a point in Brooklyn through an 84th minute blast into the upper 90 by Kalif Alhassan.

Finding the net late in the game is becoming a trend for the Cosmos. Since July 1st, New York has tallied five goals in the final 15 minutes of games, the most by any NASL club in that time. Meanwhile, North Carolina has conceded five goals in that same time frame, the most in the league.

The Cosmos have a 7-2-4 (W-D-L) record against North Carolina FC, outscoring the opposition 28-18. New York is riding an eight-game unbeaten streak in the matchup, winning six of the last eight meetings between the teams.

The game kicks off on Saturday, August 26 at 7:30 pm. Tune in on MSG Networks and ESPN3.
