Midfielder, Javi Márquez, was named Emirates Cosmos Man of the Match after netting in a half-volley in the 79th minute that began the Cosmos' comeback in a 3-3 draw against Jacksonville Armada FC.

The goal-scoring combination kicked off with Eric Calvillo, who passed to Juan Arango from the center circle. Arango then chipped the ball to an onrushing Márquez. The Spaniard's mighty left foot blasted past Armada keeper, Caleb Patterson-Sewell, tallying New York's first goal of the night from the center of the box.

With four goals so far this year, Márquez is in a three-way tie for the Cosmos' second top scorer.

The midfielder earned his first MOTM award earlier this year, scoring New York's lone goal in another draw against Jacksonville (1-1) on April 22.

Members of the media cast their votes to determine the Emirates Cosmos Man of the Match at every Cosmos home game.
