Today the New York Cosmos B have signed six players to the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) roster.  Included are Jesus Alvarez, Nick Costa, Fernando Cortez, and Alejandro Penzini, all of whom have represented Cosmos B in previous seasons.  Listed below is a complete list of signings:

“These guys have all done well through the first week or so of tryouts and practices,” said New York Cosmos Head Coach, Carlos Mendes.  “I know many of them, and some trained and played with the Cosmos.  There’s a good amount of quality and depth in this group.”

New York Cosmos B will have its first competitive match of 2018 in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Sunday, May 6 at 8:00 PM at Long Island Univeristy – Brooklyn. It will also be the first official match for first-time head coach, Carlos Mendes.
