New York Cosmos B continued its torrid form to open the National Premier Soccer League season with a 5-0 win against TSF FC at DePaul Catholic High School on Thursday night.

The win was the second time in as many games the club scored at least five goals, having defeated Greater Lowell NPSL FC, 6-1, on May 20.

Cosmos B jumped in front early and never looked back to record a fourth straight win in league play.

Darwin Espinal opened the scoring in the 13th minute when he toe-poked the ball into the back of the net. Forward Wojciech Wojcik then continued his strong play, nodding home from John Neesken's corner kick in the 21st minute to double the advantage.

After TSF FC was reduced to ten men in the 35th minute, New York took advantage just three minutes later when Wojcik fired home from close range for his second goal. He had scored two goals in the club's prior win against Greater Lowell.

Cosmos B's attack continued to look like a well-oiled machine in the second stanza when Bledi Bardic put his name on the scoresheet in the 60th minute after connecting with a cross from Johnny Borrajo.

Zaire Bartley then rounded out the scoring just before full time. The midfielder was through on goal before being brought dow as TSF FC's goalkeeper Santiago Castano was shown a red card. Bartley stepped up to take the ensuing kick to net Cosmos B's fifth goal of the night.

New York will next take the field against Rhode Island Reds FC on June 2 at Johnston High School with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET.
