New York Cosmos B's perfect start to the NPSL season continued on Saturday, June 9, after a 4-1 win over New York Athletic Club at Commisso Stadium.

As the side has done often this season, Cosmos B jumped in front early. Wojciech Wojcik knocked in a cross from Bledi Bardic in the 19th minute.

It didn't take long for Cosmos B to get back on the scoresheet when Joey Sanchez finsihed off a cross from Johnny Borrajo five minutes later. The ball initially came from John Neeskens before Borrajo's first time cross found the feet of Sanchez for the finish.

Just before the halftime break, it was captain Danny Szetela, who would pull of a sensational strike. Not known for his goalscoring prowess, the midfielder struck from about 22 yards out to push the advantage to three.

In the 53rd minute, Szetela would once again put his name on the score sheet. After Wojcik was taken down in the box, Szetela stepped up to the spot and put his shot past the NYAC goalkeeper who dove the wrong way.

NYAC would eventually pull a goal back in the 70th minute when Travis Blair found the back of the net.

The  4-1 victory was the sixth win in a row for Cosmos B. The club's next game will be on the road against Seacoast United Mariners on June 16 at 3 p.m.
