Ahead of New York Cosmos B's showdown with FC Motown in the Northeast Region Final, coach Carlos Mendes was given the honor as the region's top bench boss. In his first year as a head coach, Mendes has yet to lose a game. 

Also earning a spot in the region's XI was forward Bledi Bardic, who has scored 12 times - 10 in the regular season and two in the playoffs - and defender Johnny Borrajo, who has brought experience, stability as well as assists from the back line. 

Cosmos B battles for the Northeast Region title on Saturday at Commisso Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. against the Keystone Conference Champions FC Motown.
