Hola, my name is Diego Yañez, Director of Marketing and Communications. Born in North Jersey but raised in Southern California, I like to say I am a blend of two coasts. This is perfectly captured in the fact that I will take the subway through Manhattan with a surfboard just to catch waves at Rockaway Beach on the weekend.

I am a proud Arizona State Sun Devil, where I achieved my greatest soccer accomplishment: 2019 Co-Ed Intramural Soccer Champion. Shortly after lifting that highly coveted trophy, I officially hung up my cleats and made the move to the front office. The transition felt natural.

I am extremely grateful to serve the people of Paterson through this project. I truly believe that with hard work, intentionality, and understanding, what we are building here can leave a lasting and positive impact on the community. Outside of the office, you can usually find me around the corner of the office at My Unique on Main Street, sorting through vintage clothing.

Being part of the Cosmos feels surreal. I see myself as a small piece of something much bigger than myself. My goal is simple: show up every day, build culture, and help create a community-first club that truly reflects the people who call North Jersey home.
