Born and raised in Williamsport, PA, the home of Little League Baseball. There was nothing to do there but play sports. For me that included baseball, basketball, football, tennis, racketball, golf…everything but soccer.

The beautiful game came to me when I was working at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in the late 90s and early 2000s. All of my friends and mentors there shared amazing stories about the Cosmos. Global stars, celebrities, post-game parties and hot tubs. It was fascinating. That was followed by the MetroStars and many massive soccer matches at Giants Stadium including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Juve, AC Milan, Gold Cups and men’s and women’s World Cup qualifiers.

After three years in San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium, I returned to NJ to join Red Bull New York. We built a stadium, recruited world class players, flipped the franchise from the bottom of MLS to a top performer and made a bunch of lifetime friends.

The last 13 years, in and out and back in Cosmos Country, has been a roller coaster of emotion. We won championships, traveled the world, created lifelong memories and helped start a revolution. We also had our hearts broken, picked an unwinnable fight and went months without paychecks.

Now we are back in the game rebuilding our club. Every day we focus on having a positive impact in our community while chasing our dream of promotion for the first time in American sports history.
