The New York Cosmos remain in Brooklyn for their fourth-ever game against the San Francisco Deltas on Wednesday, September 20 at 7:30 pm.

The “Cardiac Cosmos” made a comeback to remember on Sunday night, scoring twice with 11 minutes left in regulation time, then adding a third in the last added minute, to grab a point against Jacksonville Armada FC (3-3). Juan Arango's 79th minute chip to Javi Márquez brought the Cosmos their first goal of the night, and the Spaniard his second Emirates Man of the Match award. Ten minutes later, Eugene Starikov leapt in the air for a header off an Ayoze cross. Juan Guerra ended the night with a right-footed blast from the left side of the box in the final minute of stoppage time, connecting to Ayoze's second assist.

The Deltas (9-8-5, 35 points) saw two of their road games postponed due to Hurricane Irma and its aftermath. The team hasn't played since taking on Indy Eleven at Michael A. Carroll Stadium on September 2, when Pablo Dyego's brace lifted Marc Dos Santos' side past the hosts. The Deltas are in good form, having lost just one of their last five games.

The Cosmos have a 1-1-1 (W-D-L) record against San Francisco, with a goal difference of 2-2. The teams' last meeting at MCU Park had a goalless result. Patrick Hopkins and Tommy Heinemann scored against the Cosmos in the Deltas' 2-1 Fall Season win, with Pablo Vranjicán's third minute opener keeping Romuald Peiser from a clean sheet. Emmanuel Ledesma had the lone goal in New York's 1-0 road victory over San Francisco on April 29.

The Cosmos resume their playoff race when they face the Deltas at MCU Park on Wednesday, September 20 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are on sale now. For more information, click here.
