The New York Cosmos announced today the schedule for Members Cup, which was previously named Founders Cup.

The confirmed participants are Chattanooga FC, Detroit City FC, Michigan Stars FC, Milwaukee Torrent, Napa Valley 1839 FC, and New York Cosmos.  

The competition for the club will still begin on the road on August 10 against Chattanooga FC at Finley Stadium. The home opener also stays the same and will be on August 17 against the Milwaukee Torrent at Mitchel Athletic Complex.

During the inaugural Members Cup, the club will play 10 games in a regular season, facing each team home and away. All home games will be at 7 p.m. at Mitchel Athletic Complex.

“We’re very excited to launch the Members Cup,” Cosmos Senior Vice President Joe Barone said. “It’s an important step to developing a full season, independent league where the New York Cosmos can grow and thrive.”

Cosmos coach Carlos Mendes said, “We are expecting a high level of competition in the Members Cup, and we are so thankful for Rocco Commisso’s commitment to the club and this new exciting league.”
