In a show of solidarity and support for the communities of Queens deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the New York Cosmos are proud to announce that four members of the club will be volunteering at the Sixth Street Community Center on Sunday, June 7th, from 11am to 3pm.

Captain Danny Szetela, COO Erik Stover and other players and staff will be working to prepare and package meals to be delivered to New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity by East Village Loves Queens, a mutual aid organization for those in the East Village, LES, Alphabet City and surrounding areas as a way to step in and help those in Queens with the greatest challenges.

To date, EV Loves Queens has served 5,435 meals to those in need - and Sunday's efforts are expected to feed up to 1,500 residents of Queens.
