Raúl is the second consecutive Cosmos player to win NASL Player of the Month in 2015. Jimmy Maurer won the award back in April.

"The team has been playing well and I'm happy to help contribute to that,” Raúl said. “It's a long season, so we have to continue to stay focused."

"Raul is a tremendous presence for us,” said head coach Giovanni Savarese. “He's obviously a constant goalscoring threat, but he also impacts so many other areas on the field."
