Juan Arango came away with his fourth Emirates Cosmos Man of the Match award on Wednesday night, joining Raúl as the only other player to collect four or more in a season.

The Cosmos midfielder added to his impressive goal tally with a brace in a 3-0 win over Indy Eleven, converting a penalty kick in the eighth minute and charging into the box for a thumping header in the 73rd minute.

Arango leads the team with 11 goals in 21 appearances this NASL Season, including four goals in the last two matches.

Members of the media will cast their votes to determine the Emirates Cosmos Man of the Match at every Cosmos home game. At each home match, the winner will receive an Emirates Airbus A380 model airplane with an engraved plaque recognizing the player’s achievement.

The Emirates Cosmos Man of the Match award will culminate in a season-ending Emirates Cosmos Player of the Year award. The recipient of the Emirates Cosmos Player of the Year award will receive two round trip tickets on Emirates from New York (JFK) to Dubai (DXB) to celebrate a triumphant season.
